Found in Santa Catarina state of southern Brazil as a small sized, caespitose epiphyte with terete, short ramicauls carrying a small, thickly fleshy, ovate, acute, single nerved, subrotund below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a single, thin, glabrous, longer than the leaf, arising through a basal spathe, 6 to 7 flowered inflorescence.
