Common Name The Colored Pleurothallis
Flower Size 1/8" [.4 cm]
Found in the Alto do Serra Do Moji, Dos Cruzes, Sao Paulo, Parana' and Rio de Janiero States of Brazil on trunks of small mossy trees at elevations around 100 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramcauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf where it blooms at any time of the year in situ on a thin, .4" [1 cm] long, to 12 flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul.
