Common Name The Long Haired Pleurothallis

Flower Size .2" [.5 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais state in the southeast Atlantic forests of Brazil and Bolivia at elevations of 700 to 900 [1800 to 2000 in Bolivia] meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing, repent epiphyte in humid and shady locations with spreading ramicauls enveloped completely by sheaths and carrying a single, apical, obovate, conduplicate, yellowish-olive green, speckled purple on both sides, attenuate abruptly below into the twisted, subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a .6 to .7" [1.5 to 1.7 cm] long, successively 2, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence
