Found in AltaVerapaz department of Guatemala at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with ramicals carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, tridenticulate apically, petiolate base leaf. that blooms in the later summer on a flattened, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, apical, racemose, few to many [10] successive flowered, inflorescence that is longer than the leaves and has a fractiflex rachis.
