Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute, narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, borne from near the apex of the ramicaul, peduncle 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm] long, 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long overall, loose, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with as long as to shorter than the pedicels floral bracts.
"This very small species is characterized by narrowly elliptical, semiterete leaves borne by much shorter ramicauls, and a longer, loosely few-flowered raceme. The dorsal sepal and synsepal are concave and obtuse, the petals are obovate and microscopically ciliate. The lip is unguiculate with the claw narrow and papillose, while the blade is thick, suberect and arcuate." Luer & Toscano
