Common Name Eugene's Pleurothallis [Eugene Warming Danish Botanist 1900's]
Flower Size .4" long [1 cm] long
Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil in humid primary forests at elevations of 1100 to 1400 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with ercect ramicauls enveloped by 3 loose, brown to cinnamon colored sheaths and carrying a single, apical, lanceolate, erect, faintly conduplicate, slightly infolded and twisted at the base leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, peduncle to 4" [10 cm] long, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long overall, simultaneously 9 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
Often stated to be a synonym of P linearifolia and may well be, I have left it separate because the Brazilians feel it is different.
Synonyms Anathallis eugenii (Pabst) Baumbach & Rysy 2013; Specklinia eugenii (Pabst) Luer 2004
