Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil at elevations around 800 to 1000 meters as a mini-minaiture sized, warm gowing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 , tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, obovate, fleshy, clasping the pseuopetiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, peduncle to 2" [5 cm] longm filiform, rachis longer than the leaf, .8 to 3.6" [2 cm to 9 cm] long, zigzag, successively single to 10 flowered inflorescence.
