Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil in forests and on palms as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with erect, slightly flexuous, terete ramicauls carrying an erect, flat, distinct median vein, ovate, obtuse, abruptly narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, to suberect, somewhat arcuate, filiform, 1" [2.5 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
