Common Name The Pin Tub-Bearing Pleurothallis [refers to the lip shape]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Morona-Santiago province of Ecuador without collection data as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect ramcauls enveloped by a loose sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 short sheaths at the base and carrying a single, apical, spreading to more or less horizontal, rigidly coriaceous, dark green, ovate, sides more or less inrolled, below the middle, acute, deeply cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the winter on a successively single, few flowered inflroescnece arising through and concealed by a reclining spathe at the base of the leaf.
