Common Name Heringer's Pleurothallis [Brazilian Orchid Collector in Brazil 1900's]

Found in Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janiero states of Brazil at elevations of 900 to 1200 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing, shortly repent epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, leathery, ovate to narrowly ovate , conduplicate, dark green leaf that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm] long, successively to 4 open at once, to 7 flowered inflorescence.
