Common Name Javier's Pleurothallis [Son and companion collector of author current]

Found in Guatemala at elevations around 1400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool, pendulous growing epiphyte with cylindrical ramicauls and carrying a single, apical, pendent, coriaceous, narrowly linear-ovate, acute, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a pendent, 2" [5 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously few flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the apex of the ramicaul and has a purple spotted floral bract.
Similar to P angustisepala but differs in the yellow flower [vs brown], larger flowers, purple and green leaf, a longer dorsal sepal, larger lteral sepals oblong-elliptic petals [vs oblique linear] a triangular, densely pubescent lip [vs an elliptic and warty lip] and larger fruit capsules.
