Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil at elevations around 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, repent epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to an erect to ascending, arcuate ramicual carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate, bidentate apically, rounded base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, short, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
