Common Name or Meaning The Very Small Pleurothallis [refers to the size of the plant]

Flower Size .12" [3 mm]

Found in Fr Guyana, Guyana and Venezuela at low elevations up to 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, rigid, coriaceous, broadly ellipitcal, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, arising from near the apex of the ramicaul, filiform, congested, secund, .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm] long including the .24 to .28 " [6 to 7 mm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with as long as the pedicel floral bracts.

Very similar to P barbulata and differs in its very small habit, and the short, crowded raceme instead of a densely flowered raceme of fasciculated pedicels
