Common Name Miraglia's Pleurothallis

Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil in primary cloud forests with high humidity, partial shade and elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls carrying a single apical, light to dark green, purple blotched, fleshy deeply keeled, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 2.4" [6 cm] long, successively few, 9 to 15, alternate flowered inflorescence.
