Common Name or Meaning The Oblanceolate Pleurothallis [refers to the narrowly obovate leaves ]

Found Oaxaca state of Mexico at elevations around 1000 to 1100 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cool growing, shortly repent epiphyte with suberect ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, arising laterally from the ramicaul, loose, subflexuous, .4" [1 cm] long including the .2" [5 mm] long, successively 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with just short to as long as the pedicel floral bracts.

"Distinguished by the slender, shortly repent rhizome and narrowly obovate leaqves. The flowers are produces successively ina short, lax raceme. The freee sepals are acute, with the laterals narrower and curved. The petals are narrow and attenuate. The lip is narrowly elliptical, obscurely lobed below the middle and channeled meially between a pair of calli on the lower half." Luer 2006
