Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil in monane forests on trees as a small sized, shortly repent epiphyte with erect to ascendingm somewhat flexuous, somewhat distant, pale grwwn ramicauls carrying a single, apical, somewhat small, slightly refeleed above, rigis, subplanar, intense green, fleshy, elliptic-oblong, obtuse and minutely tridenticulate apically, sessile base laef that blooms in the late spring, summer and early fall on a very short, aising through an erect, rigid, laterally compressed spathe, simultaneously 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
