Common Name Alphonso's Pleurothallopsis [A Doucette cultivator of the type, bought from Ecuagenera as P inaequalis]

Found in Ecuador without locality as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by 6, tubular, compressed, papery, purple speckled sheaths and carrying a single appical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, acute, tricdenticulae apex, narrowing below into the sulcate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a fasciculate, peduncle, filiform, glabrous, .2" [5 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular, membraneous, as long as the pedicel floral bracts.
