Common Name or Meaning The Oxapampa Pleurothallis [A Peruvian town near the collection site]

Found in Pasco department of Peru at elvations around 1800 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped below the middle by a tubular sheath and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect to suberect, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a .08" [2 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising and concealed within a reclining spathe at the base of the leaf and has a tubular, shorter than the pedicel floral bract
