Common Name or Meaning The Paraibuna Pleurothallis [a river and town in Minas Gerais]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil as a shortly repent, epiphyte with robust, erect ramicaul carrying a single, apical, erect, fleshy, subplanar, narrowly oblong, acute and minutely tridenticulate apically, subrounded below into the base leaf that blooms in the early summer on an erect-arching, dark purple, 2.4 to 2.8" [6 to 7 cm] long, successively few, 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence
