Common Name or Meaning The Very Narrow Pleurothallis [refers to the leaves and sepals]

Found in Napo province of Ecuador in wet montane forests at elevations around 450 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, narrowly linear, semiterete, acute, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, arising laterally from the ramicaul,loose, filiform, flexible, lightly flexuous, 6" [15 cm] long including the 2 to 2.4" [5 to 6 cm] long peduncle, successively single, several flowered inflorescence with a very much shorter than the pedicel floral bract.
"Characterized by slender, semiterete leaves .08" [2 mm] in diameter and a long, flexuous, successively flowered raceme, The sepals are narrow and acuminate with tails about as long as the blades. The petals are simply acute with a row of cilia on the lower margin. The lip is oblong with the apex rounded and convex with the ciliate margin beneath. The disc is channeled bwlo the middle between a pair of thick calli within erect maginal lobes." Luer 2006.
