Common Name Rojohn's Pleurothallis [American Dr Claire Rojohn cocollector of the type current]

Found in Loja province of Ecuador at elevations around 200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 ribbed sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, minutely ciliate, narrowly elliptical, obtuse, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a prostrate to descending, creeping, long-ciliate, peduncle 1.2" [3 cm] long, rachis 1.6" [4 cm] long, loosely and successively single, few flowered inflorescence with broadly infundibular shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
"Distinguished by the little elliptical leaves and a creeping, pubescent peduncle similar to Pleurothallis setosa. A few comparitively large, long-tailed flowers are produced successively. Fine cilia as seen on the peduncle are also present on the sepals, petals, pedicels and densely matted on the ovary. The lip is small, thick and shaped like an old wrinkled shoe."
