Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing, densely caespitose epiphyte with terete, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 ampexicaul sheaths and carrying a single, apical erect, oblong-lanceolate, flat, obtusely apically minutely tricuspidate, attenuate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a densely fasciculate, shortly pedunculate, single flowered inflorescence
