Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil as a miniature to small sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped basally by a sheath and carrying a single, apical, narrowly lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms on successively 1 to 3, few flowered inflorescence
