Found in Java and Borneo as a medium sized terrestrial orchid with a stem arising from a thick rhizome carrying 6 to 8, lanceolate, long-acuminate, plicate, 3 nerved, narrowing below into the clasping base leaves that blooms on a basal, [to 10" [to 25 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence
