Common Name or Meaning The Hairy Plocoglottis

Found in Borneo in lowland forests on limestone or amid boulder scree at elevations of sea level to 600 meters as a giant sized, hot growing terrestrial orchid with a leafy stem carrying several, softly downy, pubescent, broadly lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, 5 nerved, cuneate into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a 2' to 3.2' [60cm to 1m] long, lateral, axillary, stout, densely many flowered, downy pubescent inflorescence with pubescent, ovate-lanceolate, basally clasping and cupulate, distally falcate-recurved, caudate-acuminate, shortly pubescent, green floral bracts and carrying several stinky flowers
