Found in the Moluccas in hill forests at elevations around 450 meters as a small sized, hot growing terrestrial with .8 to 3.35" [2.1 to 8.8 cm] between each subobclavate to cylindrical pseudobulb enveloped by a single sheath and carrying carrying 1 to 2, plicate, 3 to 5 nerved, ovate to lanceolate, thin textured, acute-acuminate to acuminate, glabrous, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on 1 to rarely 2, basal, pubescent, 9.4 to 20.8" [23.5 to 52 cm] long, laxly 5 to 23 flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers
