Found in Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Sabah Borneo and the Philippines in lowlands and hill riverine forests at elevations around 400 to 600 meters as a medium sized sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with hard, non-branched stems carrying in youth 2 ranked, linear, gradually narrowing apically to an obtuse bilobed apex leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on numerous, lateral, very short to .4" [1 cm] long, successively, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts
