Found in New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations around 450 to 600 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with decumbent, elongate rhizomes giving rise to branching, filiform, flexuous, densely leafy stems, enveloped completely by tightly clasping leaf bearing sheaths and carrying subpatent, linear, acute, twisted, glabrous leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
