Common Name The Graceful Podochilus

Found in Sumatra, Java, Borneo and the Lesser Sunda Islands in moist shady areas at elevations of 600 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing, trunk epiphyte with an elongate, creeping, freely branching stem carrying 2 ranked, lanceolate, a long drawn out point at the apex, green to reddish leaves that blooms in the late winter on a terminal, very short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence enveloped by imbricate sheaths and has oval, acute floral bracts.
