Common Name or Meaning The Bristly Podochilus [Refers to the ovary]

Found in Leyete the Phillipines at elevations of 700 to 750 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with clustered, slender, leafy to the base stems carrying 2 ranked, .06 to .08" [1.5 to 2 mm] between each, obliquely ascending, oblong elliptic, abruptly acute, basally clasping, jointed to the cylindric, persistent sheath leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal to sometime axillary, between the upper leaves, to .16" [4 mm] long, few flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, concave floral bracts.
