Found in Borneo on trees and decaying logs in primary forests at elevations of 130 to 800 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with radiating, basally rooting, seldom branching stems carrying 2 opposite rows of very short, bilaterally flattened and overlap at the base leaves [like Oberonia] that blooms in the summer on a terminal to axillary, simultaneously opening few flowered inflorescence
