Found in southwestern Guangxi province of China in thickets as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with terete, densely leafy stems carrying erect-patent, longitudinally folded, ensiform, not articulate basally, acute leaves that blooms in the later spring and summer on a pseudo-terminal, zigzag, successively 3 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute floral bracts
