Found in Sulawesi in montane forests and regrowth forests hanging on tree branches at elevations of 1250 to 2500 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with slender, freely rooting and branching, arching to pendulous stems with twisted, short, basally cupped leaves that blooms in the summer on apical and lateral, very short, successively single to 6 flowered inflorescence
