Found in Sumatra at low elevations as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with creeping to pendulous, branching, thin, long stems carrying 2 ranked, linear, acute, basally twisted, fairly tough leaves that blooms on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute, scarcely as long as the ovary floral bract.and carrying white flushed with rose red flowers.

Similar to P similis but this one has a oblong lip apex and has three teeth on the rostellum while P similis has a spathulate apex plus only 2 teeth on the rostellum.
