Found in New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with thin, filiform, flexuous rhizomes giving rise to branching, filiform, glabrous, thin, flexuous, densely leafy stems, enveloped completely by tightly clasping leaf bearing sheaths and carrying subpatent, lanceolate to lanceolate-ligulate, glabrous, oblique aristate-acuminate, cuneate below into the base leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a terminal, shortly pedunculate, to .2" [5 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
