Found in southeastern Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with no leaves at blooming with an erect, pale yellow, thick, fleshy stem that is at first glabrous, then enveloped by scale-like, close sheaths that blooms on an erect, short, few flowered inflorescence within many, pale yellow to orange, linear-clavate, longer than the ovary floral bracts
