Found in southeastern Tibet, western Sichuan and northwestern Yunnan provinces of China and northern Myanmar in alpine grasslands and Abies fir forests at elevations of 2300 to 3300 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with an ellipitc , slightly fleshy, contracted and amplexical basally, acute apically leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a terminal, suberect, short to 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with narrowly elliptic, narrowly voate r narrowly ovate-lanceolate, as long to somewhat longer than the ovary floral bracts.
