Common Name The Lance Head Anacheilium
Flower Size 2" [5 cm]
Found in Guerrero and Oaxaca states of Mexico in pine-oak forests at elevations of 2400 to 2700 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with clustered, ellipsoid-ovoid, slightly flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single leaf that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, simple, 1 to 8 flowered racemose inflorescence
Similar to Pollardia ghiesbreghtiana and may be a synonym of but P hastata differs in the smaller plant, less atractive flowers, the slender column and the single leaved pseudobulb.
