Common Name or Meaning The Very Delicate Polystachya

Found in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Zaire, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania in rainforests, highland forests and woodlands at elevations of 300 to 2500 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with tightly clustered, narrowly cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a more or less, fleshy, subterete to flat, linear, cuneate below retuse or obtuse apically leaves that blooms in the fall on a stout, 2 to 6 branched, as long as the leaf, [2.8 to 15.5 cm] long, to 40 flowered inflorescence
