Found in Ethiopia amongst shrubs at elevations of 2000 to 2800 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial? with several noded, new stems arise from nodes of the previous stem, carrying narrowly oblong-ligulate, acutely and unequally bilobed apcially, prominently 5 veined beneath leaves that blooms in the mid winter through spring on an erect, terminal, 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] long, 7 to 16 flowered inflorescence with setaceous bracts and carrying yellow green flowers with a crimson lip and pubescence on the outside.
