Found in Nigeria and southwestern Cameroon in montane and submontane forests on spreading branches at elevations of 1500 to 2100 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with densely clustered, slightly superposed, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, canaliculate leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on a slender, 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] long, laxly 4 to 9 flowered inflorescence carrying a flower with a very long spur.
