Found in Nigeria and southwestern Cameroon in montane forests at elevations around 2150 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with superposed, asrising from the middle or apice of the previous fusiform pseudobulbs carrying 4, apical, narrowly lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, shortly acuminate leaves that blooms in the fall on a branched, 3.2" [8 cm] long, rachis fractiflex, pubescent, 4 to 20 flowered inflorescence with caudate floral bracts and carrying sparsely pubescent, fleshy flowers.
