Found in Gabon in primary and secondary forests at elevations of 100 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with delicate, fusiform pseudobulbs enveloped by 1 to 2 basal sheaths and carrying 3 to 4, apical, linear-oblanceoalte, unequally tridentate, acute teethj, middle one the longest, erect to suberect leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on an erect, to 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, dense, filiform, delicate, glabrous, to 10 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, thin, delicate, glabrousfloral bracts
