Common Name Blanco's Polycycnis [Costa Rican Botanist Current]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with pyriform to ovoid, slightly compressed, pseudobulbs with an apical maroon ring, carrying a single, apical, erect, plicate, 7 nerved, elliptical, acute leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, pendant, 10" [25 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
