Found in Gabon and the Gulf of Guinea Islands in forests edges of pastures at el;evations of 575 to 800 meters as aminiature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with loosely clustered, narrowly cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, ligulate, coriaceous, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, pubescent, shorter than the leaf, 3.36 to 4.48" [8.4 to 11.5 cm] long, racemose, to 17 flowered inflorescence with ovate, amplexicaul, pubescent floral bracts.
