Common Name The Corsico Polystachya [An Island off the coast of Gabon]

Found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo and Zaire in evergreen forests on mossy branches at elevations up to 600 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with conical pseudobulbs enveloped by a few basal sheaths and carrying 2 to 5, ligulate, coriaceous, unequally bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the summer on a puberulent, paniculate, 1.6 to 4.8" [4.5 to 12 cm] long, 10 to 25 flowered inflorescence and carrying small flowers with a pleasing scent .
