Common Name Dalziel's Polystachya [English Botanist 1900's]

Found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Cameroon in bushy montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 1750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to close set, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 5 to 6, apical, linear, deciduous, not present at blooming leaves that blooms i the winter and spring on a terminal, erect, 2 to 4.8" [5 to 12 cm] long, 3 to 20 flowered inflorescence with minute floral bracts.
