Found in Sao Tome and Principe at elevations of 1850 to 2024 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with cylindric pseudobulbs carrying a single, linear-oblong leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a terminal, simple, distichous, glabrous, 1.8 to 3.6" [4.5 to 9 cm] long, successively single, 8 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
