Found in Kenya and Tanzania in dry evergreen forests at elevations around 500 to 1400 meters in as a small sized, hot to coolgrowing epiphyte with clustered, ovoid to narrowly conical pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, obtuse to rounded apically leaves that blooms in the winter and early spring on an erect, terminal, densely pubescent, few to many flowered inflorescence with ovate to cordate, mucronate floral bracts.
