Flower Size .48 to .52" [1.2 to 1.3 cm]
Found in central and east central Madagascar in grasslands and xerophytic scrub or on rock outcrops at elevations of 1000 to 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with oblong-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, ligulate leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a terminal, erect, peduncle enveloped by 3, long, narrow sheaths, glabrous, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence.
